Hello,
I'm pleased to announce a new way to register for upcoming classes! If you look over in the right hand Sidebar of this blog, you'll see my goofy Halloween picture, then some links and a Pages section, and right below is a new StoreFront. The Store front is pretty easy to navigate, but I'll take you on a walk through below.
Upcoming classes will be listed as products. You can click on the class you are interested in to get more information. On the next page, as you poise the mouse over the "picture" you'll notice a line underneath that displays showing the class date and the In Stock or Out of stocks. If it says In Stock, there are still seats available for the class. Underneath that there is a button that shows you the class price and also says Options/Buy. When you click on this button, it will take you to the options page where you can select whether you will attend the class, or if you would like to purchase a class kit To Go (to do at home later if you are not able to attend). If there are other options for this class (for example product bundles or specials available, or color/theme choices for projects) they will show on this page as well. At the bottom there is an Add to Cart button. Click this if you want to register for this class.
At this point, you can continue shopping to add other classes by clicking on the arrows near the top of the box, or you can finish your registration by clicking on the yellow checkout button near the bottom of the box. Once you click on this button, it will show you the total due (note, if you need Class Kits to go mailed to you, we will need to add shipping seperately, just send me an email). There is a yellow Checkout button under the total, clicking here will take you to the page to log in to your Paypal account. Login as normal, and it will show you an invoice with my name at the top. You can select your payment method as normal.
If you do not have a Paypal account, there is an option at the left toward the bottom of the Login page where you can use a credit/debit card without creating an account. If you would like to create a Paypal account, it is quite easy, and I've used one for a number of years without any problems.
Some benefits of having a Paypal account:
- I (and other merchants) never see or have access to your credit card or bank account information
- It's fast, you don't need to enter your credit card/bank infromation for each purchase - you enter it once and can then just click on the button to select how you want to pay
- Paypal is free when you use the basic account type
- Many online merchants accept Paypal payments
I apologize the the very right side of the StoreFront box is getting cut off, I'm trying to figure out how to keep my pretty template, but make the column wider. You can still see most of the box and I think it should work in the meantine. Please contact me with any questions. I hope this is an easy, new way to register!
Don't forget, you can access a calendar of classes using the link further down in the right sidebar in the "My other links" area... just click on Event Calendar.
I hope to see you at an upcoming class!
